BAS

The Base Module provides central functions to maintain base data which are required for the other FuelPlus modules. The Base Module also establishes a batch job environment which is used by FuelPlus to execute batch jobs for data import, export, and internal processing.


BaseĀ areas supported:

General Base Data

  • Manage companies: The user can display, create, modify, or delete companies such as airlines, supplier, into-plane agents, and broker.
  • Manage locations: The user can display, create, modify, or delete locations including geographical coordinates and time zone data.
  • Manage areas: The user can display, create, modify, or delete areas, and assign or de-assign locations to areas. The system maintains system areas per country.
  • Manage countries: The user can capture and maintain countries including the emission trading scheme (ETS) indicator.
  • Manage translations: The user can define and maintain translations between flight number ranges and the company responsible for fuel costs.

Notes Base Data

  • Manage notes: The user can display, create, modify, or delete notes for different business objects such as location, company, or contract.

Operations Base Data

  • Manage aircraft types: The user can display, create, modify, or delete aircraft type definitions and assign or de-assign operational aircraft types. Also, the user can display, create, or modify operational aircraft types.
  • Manage aircrafts: The user can display, create, modify, or delete aircraft definitions.
  • Manage leg data: The user can display statistical leg data, and display or modify theoretical leg data.

System Administration

  • Manage tolerances: The user can display, create, modify, or delete tolerances which are used throughout the system when comparing two values.
  • Manage processes: The user can display the execution history for the processes that run in FuelPlus, or delete messages for processes that took place in a specific time period.
  • Manage audit trails: The user can display the audit trail definition per data table as well as the modifications that were logged for these tables.
  • Manage tankering instruction templates: The user can display, create, modify, or delete templates for tankering instructions.
  • Maintain system parameters: The user can display, or modify parameter settings for the system.

User Administration

  • Change password: The user can change the password of a specific system user.
  • Manage users: The user can display, create, modify or delete system users.
  • Assign roles to rsers: The user can assign or de-assign functional roles to a user.
  • Assign clients to users: The user can assign or de-assign clients to a user.
  • Set up security profile for user management: The user can enable enhanced security for the user management.
  • Delete job logs: The system deletes job logs after a specific period.
  • Delete imported data files: The system deletes data files that have been transferred from other systems and loaded into the system.
  • Delete exported data files: The system deletes data files that have been exported from the system and transferred to other systems.

Batch Processing

  • Maintain job parameters: The user can display or modify settings for a job.
  • Start job: The user can start a job ad-hoc.
  • Review job log: The user can display the processing history for the processes that were run in the system or delete messages for processes that took place in a specific time period.
  • Maintain schedule for automated job start: The user can display, or modify the schedule for the automated job execution.

General System Usage

  • Logon to system: The user can log on to the system via web browser or client application.
  • Logoff from system: The user can log off from the system.
  • Change password: The user can change the own password.
  • Manage messages: The user can display or delete own messages generated by the system.
