The Supply Chain Management Module takes care of supporting the management of supply chains in order to establish self-supply of fuel. The module allows for setting up off-airport storage systems, defining transport systems, capturing transport events, and forecasting inventory levels based on past supply and consumption patterns. The module also provides additional contract types in the Contract module and supports the definition of brokers including management of broker accounts as well as the handling of futures transactions. Finally, the Supply Chain Management Module provides functions to generate invoicing advices for product sales to third parties.


Supply Chain Management areas supported:

Supply Chain Management

  • Capture and maintain volume order plan: The user can display, create, modify, or delete a monthly volume order plan for a supply chain using all available supply lines built with product and transport contracts. The user has the option to distribute the fuel demand among different supply lines.
  • Confirm volume order plan: The user can confirm a volume order plan. Upon confirmation, the system will update the involved contracts with the ordered volumes.
  • Generate logistics document: The user can generate a report which contains all volumes that were ordered during the month for which a volume order plan was created.
  • Generate supplier document: The user can generate a report which contains all volumes that were ordered at a given supplier during the month for which a volume order plan was created.
  • Capture and maintain transportation events: The user can display, create, modify, or delete transport events.
  • Calculate costs for transportation events: The system (re-)calculates the costs for a transport event based on effective contracts.
  • Generate and maintain CSO ticket transactions: The system generates CSO events for all effective CSO contracts.
  • Calculate costs for CSO transactions: The system (re-)calculates the costs for a CSO event based on effective CSO contracts.

Reporting

  • Report volume order plan: The user can generate a report which contains the data of a given Volume Order Plan.
  • Report transportation event and associated costs: The user can generate a report which contains individual transport events and their details as for example the associated costs.
  • Report CSO event and associated costs: The user can generate a report which contains individual CSO events and their details as for example the associated costs.
