print Operations Module
The FuelPlus/EFM Operations module supports in managing data that concern operated flights and related fuelling activities. Operational flight plans, actual operated flights, fuel messages, and fuel tickets are loaded or captured manually. Based on operational data and effective contracts the Operations module calculates fuel uplift and consumption volumes and costs for each flight event.
Operations areas supported:
Operational Flight Data Management
- Load actual flight: The system imports a data file containing new or updated flight events including additional values that are needed for lease reconciliation, military reconciliation, and accruals report. Flight events failing data validation are recorded as buffered flights.
- Capture and maintain actual flight: The user can capture, modify, or delete actual flight events. Flight events failing data validation are recorded as buffered flights.
- Process buffered flight: The system processes buffered flight events and registers these as actual flight events if they pass data validation.
- Report actual flight: The user can display actual flight events with related fuel messages and invoice items.
- Manage customer exception rules: The user can display, create, modify, or delete customer exception rules. These rules are used to assign a different customer to a flight than given by airline designator or aircraft data.
Operational Fuel Data Management
- Capture and maintain standard fuel message: The user can capture and modify the details of a standard fuel message.
- Load standard fuel message: The system loads a data file containing standard fuel messages.
- Load fuel ticket: The system loads a data file containing fuel tickets.
- Capture and maintain maintenance report: The user can display, create, modify, or delete maintenance reports which contain fuel receipts for all fuel deliveries that refer to one flight.
- Review fuel message: The user can display and modify the details of a standard fuel message, a fuel ticket, or a maintenance report.
- Capture and maintain maintenance fueling: The user can display, create, modify, or delete maintenance fueling reports for maintenance fuelings / defuelings that are not related to a flight event.
- Calculate costs for fuel message: The system links the fuel message to the appropriate contract and calculates the costs based on the contracted prices.
- Link actual fuel message to actual flight according to source hierarchy: The system links a fuel message to an actual flight event. If several fuel messages (coming from various sources) are available for one flight event, the system uses the fuel message with the highest source hierarchy.
- Generate volume estimation for actual flights: The system generates an estimated fuel message for actual flights.
- Generate consumption estimation for actual flights: The system generates estimated fuel consumption for actual flights.
Statistics Calculation
- Calculate statistical fuel figures for sector and aircraft type: The system calculates statistical fuel quantities for each operated combination of aircraft type and leg using actual flights and fuel messages.
- Load theoretical fuel data: The system loads a data file which contains theoretical fuel consumption data for the combination of A/C type and leg.
Housekeeping
- Delete raw flights: Delete unprocessable raw flight events.
- Delete unlinked fuel messages: Delete unlinkable fuel messages.
- Delete raw fuel messages: Delete unprocessable raw fuel messages.
- Delete raw fuel tickets: Delete unprocessable raw fuel tickets.
- Delete flight operation plans: Delete flight operation plan.
- Manage routes: The user can display, create, modify, or delete routes. The user can also generate an overview on the flights that are operated on a specific leg and on the routes to which these flights are assigned.
Reporting
- Report actual volumes and costs: The user can generate a report which contains the actual fuel quantities and costs of flight events by month.
- Report actual flight events and uplifts: The user can generate a report which contains the actual fuel quantities and costs of individual flight events.
- Report aircraft fuel consumption: The user can generate a report which contains aircraft fuel consumption.
- Report cost breakdown by price category: The user can generate a report which contains the detailed costs of a given event.
- Report flight events and fuel quantities: The user can generate a report which contains fuel quantity information for operated flight events.
