FuelPlus launches server-based FuelPlus One Emissions solution
FuelPlus makes small airlines fit for EU emissions trading, announcing the availability of its new web-based FuelPlus One Emissions solution. The growing demand for easily accessible web based systems prompted FuelPlus’ software engineers to develop a server-based system that enables airlines to comply with the EU ETS regulations regarding tonne-kilometre and emissions monitoring and reporting.
The application has been specifically designed for small and medium-sized airline operators. Any data are managed via a secure host server; data access is provided via a secure internet connection. The hosting solution does not only need few resources and can quickly be implemented, but also provides another benefit to its users: it is location independent. The system benefits from the experience with the established fuel management solution FuelPlus EFM and shows up with comprehensive features. On the one hand, the software registers any data, e.g. flights, fueling, and load data required for emissions calculation, on the other hand, it also allows for fuel consumption and emissions forecasts, including individual calculations for different scenarios. The flexible comparison of deviations between forecast and actual consumption or emissions provides the basis for a complete analysis of causes.
Airlines using FuelPlus One Emissions benefit from the fact that no time-consuming implementation of further IT systems is necessary. As there is no need to invest in own IT resources, FuelPlus One Emissions provides a cost-effective service with a state-of-the-art technology.
