Current Status of FuelPlus 5.0

The FuelPlus Release 5 development project has reached its next milestone: The final technology framework has been implemented, and with it a large number of dialogs to test the functionality.

The milestone, named "No questions open", marks a major step forward as the current version allows Product Management and QA to test the framework for final approval. The system in its current state was presented at the FuelPlus User Group Meeting 2009 in Hanover, and the feedback was very positive.

The architecture is set up in a way that the business logic is identical for both release 4 and 5, enabling the releases to use the same business functionality but provide different user interfaces. Therefore, it will be possible to run both user interfaces in parallel on the same server, allowing a smooth migration from Release 4 to Release 5.

The next steps in the project will include performance testing, completion of dialog development, layout fine tuning, and configuration support.
