FuelPlus Release 4.2 is available at the end of September
FuelPlus debuts Release 4.2 on September 29, 2008. The new release comes with a number of significant improvements, several bug fixes, and the new Tender module, which is available for optional licensing.
The most important features and functionalities that were implemented include:
- The Tender module is available and supports users in creating and maintaining contract tenders, including setting up a tender by using volume forecasts, awarding a bid, and automatically create contracts based on tenders.
- The system allows a third-party report writer.
- Several new dialogs are available to maintain base data, e.g. user roles and exchange rates.
- New averaging methods are available to calculate time series:
- Fortnightly: 11-25, 26-10
- Monthly: 1-25
- Forward curves can be entered as absolute prices, not only as percent changes. Prices per month that are used for forward curves can also be loaded into the system by importing a .csv file.
- In the dialog "Actual Flight Events and Uplifts" (K2_02), the order of the query criteria was re-arranged for easier use.
- To allocate fuel tickets, the local time is also taken into account (calculated based on UTC time).
- When capturing maintenance fuelings, the local time is converted into UTC automatically.
- To simplify querying for invoices, special characters in the invoice number are removed.
- When closing accruals, a remark can be captured.
